Processor
A
processor or micro-processor is the 'brains' of a computer system. It is the
processor that controls the working of all of the hardware and software.
There are many processors available and
processor specification is usually one of the first things considered when
buying a new personal computer (PC). The type of processor and its speed have
the greatest impact on the overall performance of a computer system. Processor
performance is related directly to its speed of operation and its architectureCompetition among processor manufacturers is fierce and because of this there is a wide and diverse choice of processors in the market place. Processor manufacturers, such as Intel and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) are continually developing more advanced processors and new models are released within the space of months rather than years. This is in stark contrast to earlier processor developments, such as the 8086, 80286 and 80386 which were released years apart.

Intel
Intel is a multinational company based in the United
States and is famous for the design and production of microprocessors and
specializes in integrated circuits. Intel also makes network cards, mainboard
chipsets, components, and other tools. Intel has an advanced research project
in all aspects of semiconductor production, including MEMS.

Excess
Intel
o
Intel
can set its own temperature, if the processor is too hot then the processor
will reduce the speed of its performance. So it is not easy to heat.
o
Intel
processor is better if used for multimedia applications.
o
The
performance of the processor itself is not noisy, this teknolgi using heatsink
only and do not use active cooling like fan.
·
Intel
weakness
o
In
terms of graphics, Intel lost to AMD.
o
For
Intel processors embedded in HP Asus, the temperature is hotter faster.
Some kind of intel

a. Intel Core i3
The Intel Core i3 is an Intel microprocessor, which was
introduced on January 4, 2010. The processor is the successor of the Intel Core
2 series and completes the Core i5 and Core i7 that have been released.

intel core i3
Intel Core i3 is the most value variant compared intel core i5 and i7. This processor will integrate the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) aka Graphics On-board inside the processor. Graphics capabilities claimed the same as Intel GMA on G45 chipset. In addition Core i3 will use hybrid manufacturing, core processor with 32nm, while memory controller / graphics using 45nm. The Core i3 product code is "Arrandale".

b. Intel Core i5
Intel Core i5 is the name Intel uses for computer
processors built for desktop and laptop computers.
The first Core i5 was the previous Core i7 version, the Lynnfield core. Lynnfield Core i5 processor has 8 MB L3 cache. They have a DMI bus (Direct Media Interface) operating at 2.5 GT / s. Core i5 also has support for dual-channel DDR SDRAM memory and has Hyper-threading disabled. A new feature called Turbo Boost Technology was introduced that maximized the speed for demanding computer programs. This improves performance to match the amount of work the computer has to do.
The Core i5-5xx mobile processor is named Arrandale. They are based on 32nm Westmere shrink from the Nehalem microarchitecture. Arrandale processors have integrated graphics capabilities but only two processor cores. They were released in January 2010. Clarkdale, is the desktop version of Arrandale. This is the first processor to have integrated video. It has Hyper-Threading enabled and a full 4 L3 cache.

Excess Core i5 is implanted function of Northbridge chipset on core processor (known as MCH on Motherboard). Then the Core i5 motherboard that will use Intel P55 chipset (mainstream class) will look vacant without the northbridge chipset display. If Core i7 uses Triple Channel DDR 3, then in Core i5 only use Dual Channel DDR 3. Power usage is also lowered to 95 Watt. The P55 chipset supports Triple Graphic Cards (3x) with PCI-E slot 1 × 16 and 2x8 PCI-E slots. In Core i5 cache remains the same, ie 8 MB L3 cache. Intel also launched Clarksfield, the Core i5 mobile version intended for notebooks. Socket to be used is mPGA-989 and the power is fairly small amount of 45-55 Watt.

Core i5 has this hyper-threading feature, but some do not. Core i5 750, i5 760 does not have hyper-threading, but has 4 physical cores. Core i5 660 has hyper-threading but has 2 physical cores. No core i5 has more than 4 physical cores or 4 simulated cores. This means that the Core i5 will not be like the Core i7 its speed on the weight of the multi-threaded workload.

c. Intel core i7
Intel Core i7 is a family of Intel processors that will
replace quad core processors. It is found in both 2, 4, 6 and 8 cores.
There are several editions of Core i7 processors like Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge.
Core i7 'only supports DDR3 frame pieces and uses 45 nm processors.
The standard X58 motherboard with this processor has up to 6 DDR3 memory that supports 24GB of memory. The shelf will be LGA1366.

Excess intel core i7
Core i7 itself is the first processor with technology "Nehalem". Nehalem uses a new platform that is completely different from the previous generation. One of them is integrating the MCH chipset directly in the processor, not the motherboard. Nehalem also replaced the FSB function into a more revolutionary QPI (Quick Path Interconnect).
